I have had several Bass boats, and lemon pledge has always been my go to. I use it on the vinyl and add it a little extra heavy on seams and threads, it has a wax in it and I feel like it saturates the threads after a few uses and keep the threads from busting due to the sun weakening the threads. This is purely my opinion. But I have always had nice seats when I got rid of a boat, so as the old saying goes,”If it aint broke dont fix it”. Pledge is cheap and a can goes along ways. Seats are expensive. I have even used pledge on my hull and top cap, Keeps it shinny and makes wipe down after taking it out of the water a breeze.

I sold a 88 model cat in 2014. Still had the oringinal seats in it the buyer couldnt believe it! Pledge is the ticket for seats. I will add i had to replace my rear seat in my 13 model because of a careless mistake on my part. I will add im pretty sure its the new syntec material and doesnt quite carry the sheen as my other seats. I have been using pledge on it as well. I do know that alot of the protectants will rot the theads plus give a milky appearence if it gets wet. I like to talk about a persons “success” alot. No matter wat were doing in life if were havin “success” at it we will be hard pressed to change a single thing!!

BCB recommended “scrubbing bubbles” to clean, then “Pledge” to finish. Seems to work well for me.

For all boats Ive owned Ive used 3M 303 aerospace protectant for UV PROTECTION. a bit pricy but an outstanding product. For periodic cleaning Ive used standard blue cleaner degreaser from home depot, cut down with water to 25%. Spray on, scrub lightly with a soft bristle brush, then (important) rinse with wet cloth, dry, and apply 303.I recently picked up some Boat Bling Vinyl Cleaner which seems to work very well instead of cleaner degreaser.I2DSent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
