A friend bought a used Puma recently. First day he took it out on the lake driving around and checking the boat out. He would call me up all excited “the boat has this! and that!” About the 3rd call he asking what the button with word security was for. I told him it was an alarm for the boat and is standard on Bass Cats. “Really!” (he gets very excited) So I told him how to turn it on and asked if the red light came on. “Yep” Then I told him to open a compartment lid. I could hear the alarm start going off and he was yelling “how do you turn it off!” I said “What…hey youre breaking up…I cant hear you” then I hung up, hee hee. Trust me, he deserved that. Later he told me some guys were fishing on a point that just kept staring at him.

Once you turn it on it should stay on.I wont tell you how to turn it off. Call your dealer or BassCat.

I THINK he means once the alarm set off, does the horn just keep blowing until you turn off the alarm or does it blow for like 5 minutes, stop for a minute, blow for 5 minutes, etc? We assume it MIGHT be doing this while charging. If so then contact Service and they will replace your system. Z

I will call basscat. Sorry was not clear. I meant once triggered and alarm goes off does it auto shut off after awhile or go on until manually shut off and how do you manually shut off once alarm is triggered.
