On an older boat we think they are worth the gamble. Hard to take the China label, though might last a while or average users.

The main thing I have heard is that running in a tournament would void the warranty as “other competitive activity”. Main reason I didnt get one. Interesting I didnt catch the “other competitive activity” part on the warranty. They sure talk it up like no questions asked. My original lower never locked up so its probably worth re building. Hopefully the SEI unit gets me through the season, I can always get the old unit done over winter. Mike, Ill be at Harrison hopefully early Thursday, Im staying right in the camp ground again. I plan on heading down on the St Joe end of the lake. If I dont show up that night send out the search party! Haha
