Hemifun, Have your dealer relocate the pumps to the storage area  alongside the bilge area, The storage area that you can only access by lifting the rear lid. That will free up the entire removable storage bin for your use. That is what is I have. I have also seen where a plate was made and installed in the bilge area and the  pumps were placed on the plate, I am not sure if other things in the bilge were relocated.

BCB does make a shallow storage bin,  or at least they used to.  But, the pumps should be installed in front of the rear gas tank on the port side. Thats were Sherm put mine. That way you can use the deeper drop in bin.

It’s a matter of choice and you can place the short storage bin in there, or you can relocate the pumps and re-insert the deeper bin.
