Skills USA – Machine Board Drafting… DUN DUN DUN!!!

Alright, Out of the 24 people that competed in this competition for my state... I got 4th place. Our school had 4 out of the top 5 and all 5 of us made it into the top ten, 1st 2nd 4th 5th 10th. I took a test awhile back and that test ranked me as 8th in the state. But I wanted better than that and I wasnt going to go home without a top 5 finish. But 4th is a tough place to finish... One spot right off the podium... Oh well. I had fun and it was and will be an experience to remember. Cant wait til next year to get 1st place. haha. If anyone wants to see what we had to draw and all that jazz, just let me know so I can get it to you along with pictures.YUNGUN.Dan Yonan. ---------------------------------------------------------

Alrighty now. Here is what we were assigned to do. These are all the directions they gave us.This is the Isometric picture that they gave us to reference our drawing to. We had to take this picture and turn it into enough views to make it a working diagram.Here is my drawing. Notice its not centered. You will be happy when you get past drawing on paper and in CAD, I have been doing CAD work for 18 years.
