Slam latch problem

The slam latch on the center large box on my Puma STS won’t stay flat. It looks like part of the latch won’t slide across to keep the latch down. I see a spring inside that may be out of place. Need a new latch or an easy fix?

It’s likely a pin that is bent in the assembly. They will work with your dealership to resolve the pin issue. If there’s not a dealership handy, then they would be glad to cooperate with you, or whomever.

The “Slam Latches”  on my Puma STS have worked perfectly from day 1!  I really prefer them over the traditional latches I had on previous Bass Cat premium boats.

It is nice however that buyers can specify their choice of latches on a customer ordered boat. It one of the many things that makes Bass Cat Special.
