I upgraded the latches in my 08 Cougar. BCB parts was great to deal with, even gave a trade in for the old latches. Give em a ring!Advantages are taken, not handed out…

I was wonderin if you coup simply put a post up some day that reads 2010 Jaguar thoughts, I feel more needs to be written and read about that boat.the layout,design,styling etc I feel are far ahead of anyone, could I bother you for some pics of the front and baxk deck facing forward from rear and vice versa,kind of a birds eye view. Your colors are some of the Baddest colors arranged just perfectly, Im super picky on color and layout and you used my all time favorite colors arranged so differently that it took me tip last week to get it,that shooting to the rear really shows it. They are WELL WORTH the couple hundred bucks. You will Love them,the compression,the Stainless and NO PLASTIC to break. Heck their approx $80 each normally. Its a steal at BCBs pricing….

They are the best latches on the market! The only negative thing about them, they get very HOT to the touch from the sun. I would not go back to the perko latches!

My CougarFTD is the first boat Ive had with the Southco latches. They are a great improvement.

Yep, worth it. Also, if able, pay the extra for two latches per rod box lid. I think one latch per lid is standard, but Id do two per if that is an option. The Cougar AE is a great platform and would be my choice if I were to replace my beloved single console Jag w/ a dual console 20 model.Last edited by rlb8s on May 1st, 2010, 2:05 am, edited 2 times in total.

Where I used to work shared a parking lot with Southco, I knew they made latches for trucks etc., they asked to show some in one of our trucks to floor staff one day. I didnt know they made boat latches too. I wonder if you can get them cheaper if go to factory here in Menands just north of Albany NY.

Damn the locks, you need to borrow a hunting game camera or security camera to view your boat to ID who is messing with it. Id bet it is someone near by who knows when you are coming and going. Once you ID who it is, well, even us Yankees know how to deal with that.
