Just wondered if there is any reason to keep the spare tire mounted to the trailer frame. I would rather carry it in the bed of my truck, less chance for theft.
Only if you need the space for something else, or if you are not always towing with your vehicle. Be sure you have it secured as not mounted will lead to another theft opportunity.
