A potential sponsor? Sorry, it was just to easy…..First I would make sure you have a resume that details your abilities, shows in details what you have to offer a sponsor. Tells them why you would be a good person to trust with their products name. What you could do better than someone else could and in the end what your goal is for the future. I am sure BCB could answer this better and maybe they will do so.

The best way to impress potential sponsers is to begin promoting thier product long before you even inquire about sponsorship. Such as in tournament wins always mention your equipment like rods, reels, boats, outboards, main baits used. Then you keep a scrapbook of all your newspaper articles that show this kind of stuff. When you are talking to other fisherman always mention how much you love said products and for what reasons. Its all about promoting products. Internet sites such as these offer folks looking for sponsorships unlimited opportunities. You can really do alot to promote products of potential sponsors on all types of sites like here, BBC, Bass fishing home page, Texas fishing forum. The list goes on and on. Let folks know you like and support thier product when you arent being paid and they will appreciate your efforts that much more.
