Stainless Steel Prop – how to clean

I have a 2000 - 25 Tempest that looks really dull/not shiny. I have never cleaned it before. Does anyone recommend anything. Someone told me not to because by cleaning it I will cause it to slip more? not bite?Thanks in advance

Should polish with a paste polish of some type. Try some of the Mothers stuff for aluminum and you should be fine in polishing, no added slippage should be there that you would notice. BCB

I used muratic acid on mine, it cleaned it up like new then put a coat of polish on it, drip the acid on and scrub it with a plastic toothed brush, rinse with water and them polish….vwalla, like new…
