Stern kick?

Guys,I have a 07 Puma, 250 ProXS, Hyd Jack Plt,26 Fury, every now and then when running say 5000 RPMs, the rear end of the boat kicks to the right, and the RPMs seem to drop just a tad. This will occur for about say 100 yards, and it kicks back to the left and the RPMs increase??? This is my 2nd Cat, and my Cougar never did this. Love my Puma, just kinda curious whats up? Is the prop slipping?Thanks,Keith

Sounds like engine height? Hydraulic plate may be a fidge too low. Doubt its too high, though possible.

Yep, Raise your motor just a bit. Mine will do that when I get my Hydraulic plate in the lower ranges. Raise it up a little and the kick will go away.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.
