Stress Crack

I have a spider (stress) crack on the port side of my hull (exterior), maybe 2 inches in diameter. It would be near the end of the rod locker approximately where the bulkhead attaches. I noticed it for the first time in late fall before I put my boat away for the winter. The boat is 2010. There was no impact, and I do not fish big water at all, and I only fish recreationally. Recently, I was reassured by somebody from BCB that the problem was strictly cosmetic as opposed to structural, and was caused by flex in the hull at the bulkhead. As we know, BCB, and all other boat manufacturers do not warranty these cosmetic repairs. I want to sell this boat and get into a 2013 Bass Cat. I am not sure what to do about this issue. Repair is very costly, as it extends into the bolt and trim stripe, and even in the best of hands, may be noticeable when completed. Furthermore, I want to be totally transparent when selling, so I am not sure how to handle advertising it. I know stress cracks are pretty common in bass boats and are a frequently mentioned issue.
