I have a 94 PII that the super dash still works but I thinking about converting it to the conversion kit. Do you have to do a lot of rewiring to make it work, or is it just a plug and play? I really just looking at making my own panel and getting a touch pad and a tach.
Maincat, please give our Parts department a call … that starts at 870.481.5135, M-F, 8-4:30pm CST. Might have your boats serial number handy in case they may need it?They will be glad to help you with the conversion.BCB Admin
I got the new dash ordered up today. I know the superdash has a credit when returned. Should I send you the old superdash now or wait until I receive my new replacement dash?
Just put 1 in my 99 Jag. Nothing to it. Instructions come with the conversion kit. You just cut the wires at the Super Dash plug and connect them to your new panel. They are all color coded and marked. You will have to drill 21/8″ holes for your gauges. About a 2 or 3 hour job. Good luck
Like mentioned it was mostly plug and play. I did the conversion on my previous boat (00 Jag). I had to relocate one gauge which I put in front of the shifter. If I remember correctly the reason I had to move the guage was because I purchased the trim gauge as part of the conversion. I dont know why I bought the trim gauge since I never really looked at it anyway. I was very happy with the conversion kit. Good luck. Also, here are install instructions – http://www.basscatstore.com/installation.aspxLast edited by rlb8s on May 25th, 2015, 3:05 am, edited 1 time in total.
