I have a 2018 caracal on a tandem trailer.
I believe the master cylinder is gone as the trailer still clunks from stopping and going. Looking at what actuator I need and if it's available in Canada. (Ordering from the states especially the basscat store costs a fortune) or can I just order the master cylinder. Part numbers would be great if I can just a replacement from somewhere else.
I had a broken brake line and ran it dry on my way down to Florida from Canada. Basscat tech fixed my brake line and bleed the line when fishing the BM team trail. But still clunking on the way home, not as drastic but I think it's definitely worn out.
Any tips would be much appreciated!
I would bleed it again especially as you broke a brake line before I did anything drastic. Be sure to use the DOT series brake fluid that is recommended for it. Not sure on a 2018 trailer. Should say on the tongue what is used.
