Check with Scott Estes at Denali Custom rods. Theyre light, sensitive and come at a very reasonable price. Plus they have a Bass cat connection.

I looked at them, but really want a 7.5-8 rod. Need something with a lot of leverage for fishing deep!!!

Take a look at the abu garcia vendetta rod 7 6″ rod in a medium heavy its got alot of backbone for a MH rod.

See if BCB Parts has a Jig road that might be big enough. Though you really need a specialty rod with a stiff tip and a parabolic action. Hard one to find!

I use the 76″ American Rodsmiths magnum flippin stick, Heavy Action flippin rod for the swimbaits. Either the Team Series, or the Mag Strike Predator series are good rods for this application.http://americanrodsmiths.com/D.

I use a falcon coastal 610″ sc-9-1610 with a curado e300. I use it as a light offshore rod to jig 2-4oz diamond jigs for snapper. Its a very well balanced beast of a combo. The 610″ does NOT lack leverage. I like it.

take a look at a shimano crucial. 710″ swimbait rod. great rod with lifetime warranty for around 169.00.
