I am going to start setting up my 05 Pantera classic for next season does anybody have a suggestion for a tackle system. I have never used any hangers or strips. I have seen alot of different types on the net was just wondering if anyone had something they thought was good. Any input is appreciated.
I carry everything i own, not good ! I should be more like Ivan,,,,A tournament load for him is two jigs and a pack of worms, if someone begins to pass him, hes fishing with worms the rest of the day !
I stick myself with the “just in case” tackle system. I carry most of what I own. Years ago I did however quit buying crap I knew Id never use. As far as organization, I keep my plastics in their bags and the bags are with their similars in gallon ziplocks labeled accordingly. That way I can quickly thumb through the ziplocks and grab the specific bag of worms needed. I also keep an 8″x10″ plastic container next to the ziplocks that I put my most used bags of plastics in to save a bit of time. Works for me. On the hard baits, I got utensil trays from walmart. The ones that look like three butter knife slots will fit 2 plastic boxes each. They fit well enough to stay upright in big waves. Again, works well for me. I usually end up with a jig, so Ivans plan sounds good too!

I try to start my day with no more than 5 rods on deck.. depending on which lake I am going to and the weather conditions. I generally start with top water, (buzz baits, Frogs, Poppers) and if the sun comes out.. I put those 5 away and opt. for my pitching and flipping or crank bait sticks.. all depends on the weather.Mo
