What are you guys, who are running a standard Opti 225 on a Puma, getting for #s. Speed/rpms at WOT, engine height, and most importantly, with what prop? Thanks, Jeff

i have a 05 puma wide body 225 xs running a 25 trophy 72 gps 2 guys 25 gal of fuel 5900 rpms, just put a 26 tempest on i will let you know how it goes tony

just got back from the lake tried a 26 tempest on my puma wide body 225 xs and this is the prop for me good hole shot, ran 75.2 on the gps , at 5800rpms ,filled the wells with water and got 73, i also have a 25 trophy and its a tad slower on my boat but not much ,i personally like the three blade prop i like the torque it delivers, just my two cents, my first cat and loving it more and more. tony

05 Puma. Dual console. Standard 225 Optimax. With just me alone, empty livewells, full belly tank (dont use rear saddle tanks as I cant seem to keep water out of them), I can reach 73 with a 26 Trophy.Full tournament load with water in the livewells, partner, etc, I can reach 70.Im thinking about buying a 26 Hydromotive as Ive heard some really good reports from some friends of mine.

WOW- What is with the water in your saddle tanks…this isnt something common with them is it??
