Hey everyone. I just bought a 26P Tempest plus to try out on my Eyra (2018 Pro XS 250 two stroke). I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for how many plugs to remove. My current 25P Fury has no plugs so I was guessing that would be the way to go with the Tempest too. Just wanted to get some input before taking them out. Thanks.
On my 26 and 27 tempest I run 2 of the biggest plugs and 1 open vent. 17 cougar with 250 pro xs. The prop also likes to run 1/2-3/4 inches higher than a fury did for me. Hope this helps!
Well, we’ve seen the Tempest run on this combination and done to help mid range lift. As a rule we don’t find it to be the best setup. The ones we’ve run we started plugged and usually changed to small 3/8” PVS holes.
