Thank you BCB for this board and thank you BCB owners!!!

A few weeks ago the issue of Etecs and fuel bulbs came up. I have an 06 200ho with NO issues. But after reading that thread I called Riverside who filled me in. I immediately scheduled my local rude dealer to replace the fuel bulb with Yamaha one. Well turns out the fuel line had collapsed and very little fuel was getting to engine. Looking at the new Yamaha line and bulb, it is of much better quality. Mechanic said this was a major accident waiting to happen. Would have never known if not for BCB and the people on this board.-Thanks.

Ward is the man on E-tecs. He knows what they need to run there best. Glad your dealer took care of you. Everyone needs to check their fuel bulbs and lines also to be sure they are E10 compatible as well.Last edited by Bama96 on June 14th, 2012, 3:34 am, edited 1 time in total.

Im glad my misfortune had a side benefit! Ive got 2 hours on my new SHO, put one of Sherms HDS mounts in my console to make my HDS 10 more secure, 2 new tires went on the trailer, my PIV is ready to tear em up next week!
