I have finally got enough time on the new boat to see what it will really do. I had to get Danny from Gwinns Boat Repair to show me how to drive it tho. I have always had a Yamaha and i couldnt get adjusted to how much faster a Mercury trims. He took me on a short ride then let me take over and after learning form what he showed me the boat is smooth and plenty fast. tops out around 74mph on the GPS with a 26 tempest prop on a 225 pro xs. He is already trying to talk me into a new Fury prop. He said it would be quicker out of the hole and 2 mph faster. Were were in 85 degree water i cant wait to see what it does in cool water. Thanks again to BCB on a beautiful and great riding boat and Danny for giving a dummy some pointers.
