I can tell you I paid $19,000 for an 08 Sabre a year and a half ago. Mercury 150 EFI with 90 hours on it. Boat looked like it came of the showroom floor, unbelievably clean. I had looked around a lot and had seen what was available but still thought I paid a high price but the boat was immaculate. Looking back I think I paid fair price for what I got. Id think you could get top dollar for your Puma, it is exactly what I was looking for when I bought my Sabre. I dont know what its worth but Id say mid to upper 20s, does that sound in the ball park?Text me some photos in case I see anyone interested. I oversee a high school club and you never know when a parent might decide to buy a boat. But, Im finding most prefer to hire out the best local guys rather than get a boat. 8three2-7six7-88nine0

Hmmm, no wonder I had people contacting me when I hinted about selling my 07 Classic with 200 Opti for $18-19K a year or two ago. Its in very good condition and motor has around 300 well maintained hours which isnt bad for a 10 year old rig. Two seasons on the Fortex. I thought I was pricing fairly but maybe I was a bit low if I every decided to sell to pull trigger on a newer Eyra or Caracal.

Boat was exceptionally clean with 80-90 hours, forgot the exact amount. Not a single scratch on it anywhere, had several nice little add ons also. I sold it immediately to the first guy that looked at it. I had looked at a lot of use boats, some much newer models, but nothing came close to that 08 Sabre.

Mines in VG condition but not spotless. Ive used it, thats why I bought it. No way to avoid some wear.

I wasn’t used to it being from Tennessee. I realized I just had to get over it but it’s impossible to fish around here without bouncing off lots of stumps. The Sabre looked like it had never been in the water. I think it’s much easier to keep a boat looking like new when all you fish is deep, clean lakes.

I had a guy who bought my 09 puma w/ nearly 500hrs on it from TX. he looked it over and said, this thing looks great. it had several areas where stumping had been an issue as well as a few rock rash places but he seemed to think it was immaculate.I guess it is just what you are used to. the same guy from up north who fishes no less than 20-30 on clean lakes may have thought I dropped it off the trailer at the ramp.go figure

I looked at several local boats and was shocked at the shape they were in, some were late model boats. It’s a whole lot different here in this area with stumps everywhere and shallow water from where I grew up in Tennessee. I had boats for years that never got a scratch. Another good thing about northern boats they probably have less hours. With the warm weather here year round I’ve already put 124 hours on my Eyra in the last year. Not a bad problem to have though, I’m thoroughly enjoying it.
