A lot depends on the weather. Typically that is a good time of year with temps down but not cold. I personally like topwater stuff that time of year, if the weather is cooperating. Lots of trees and such to buzz around. But I have also fished there where it was cold and the fish had lockjaw. And we can always get a late-year hurricane or tropical storm that brings in a ton of rain and changes everything if it gets lots of rain. Have not been there this year, but Lay/Mitchell pool is normal so I assume most rivers are doing OK this year…2008 Pantera Classic2014 Mercury Pro XS 200
