Touch pad issues

My touchpad quit lighting up when the buttons are pressed on a 23’ puma sts. Seems like everything still works it’s just the little red lights don’t come on for any of the buttons. Any ideas?

I had the exact same issue with my 2023 Caracal SP.  I think it had something to do with getting wet. I live in AZ, and we don’t get much rain, but I sprayed down my boat a day earlier and noticed the lights didn’t light up, but the buttons still worked.  Then, the next day, the lights started to work again. I think it completely dried out and started working.

Never a problem since.

Note that I have not sprayed the pad again, and it hasn’t been in heavy rain since then.

We have seen more issues ona run of touch pads in 2024 season. Those prior were one off units and not that overbearing on failure.

The previous unit was the ATen touch pad product and they were near bullet proof, having used over 10,000 pieces.

The newer Interactive Tech (ITI) dash is several years in now and we’ve used roughly 4000 parts in Premium models.
