Trailer Backup Problem Fixed/Ford Dealer Is Bozo/Thanks All
First, thanks for all the replys to my post yesterday. The problem was a missing relay(which was not included with my truck). Works fine now. The service manager at my local Ford dealership (and the techs) are all a bunch of bozos. Took my truck there yesterday. They checked it out and said I had a broken wire somewhere. Wanted me to leave the truck with them. I asked about the missing relay. Owners manual calls it a trailer tow battery charge relay. The tech said the missing relay could not be the problem. I told them I would bring the truck back tomarrow(today). Then I went to the parts dept. and bought the missing relay based on what was said here. Plugged it in, hooked up the trailer, and everything worked like it should. Ill be paying the service dept. a visit later today. Thanks again for all the advise.
