Odds are the bolts fell out from a faulty bunk board, which probably needs replacing. We use 3/8″ x 1 1/2″ lag bolts which have a special coating on them.

I dont have this problem, but i also have a wedge under front of spare to tilt it a little just to help.I use a lot of different ramps so i did it as a precaution BASS CAT builds the best looking trailer out there and my trailer being a 08 has a lot of miles on it just went 1200 plus in 21 hrs and did not miss a beat and yup looked good doing it.this trailer has the 20 s on it and pulls fantastic. best pulling trailer i have had and i think the 20s help it

I dont use a lot of different ramps but I have never had a problem with my Sabre FTD or now my Pantera II. I agree trailers look really sharp and pull like a Dream!Dan

I had this problem and resolved it with a wedge under the spare.

Question to anyone that knows. Is it generally the flatter ramps that create the problem? Are some models more prone than others?Dan

Window wedge. Should be available at an automotive store, or online. Changed the mounting angle of the spare on my 07 Sabre just enough to keep the bottom from hitting it when launching or trailering. Hope this helps.Last edited by RazorCat on September 14th, 2015, 1:27 am, edited 1 time in total.
