I had this trouble. In most cases. Its at the tow vehencle! Problem is most likely in the holes that the pin ( or your lock ) at the reciever. Being a machinist and welder. I fixed my issue. I tightened the holes up.and the slide in tongue. Problem with these are generally the holes in each piece are a full 1/16. Larger than the pin. Also the slide in tongue is to much smaller than the reciever. So slack here and there causes the BUMP! Though keep in mind if they were super snug eventually they would seize up and u couldnt remove them. So I made my really snug and aplied anti seize. Word of caution with the constant bumping keep a check on your reciever pin lock.it could and will cut grooves in the pin. Always make sure the pin (or lock) are harden. Alot on the market are not!2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
My PIV is doing this as well. I know its not the truck, doesnt do it with any other trailer. The sliding part of the tongue seems to stick. Posted via TapaTalk for iPhone613 PIV w/ 200 MercIG: WarriorRiverCustomRods
I done a little researching on the ufp site. Their is some info out there. The clunk is common at take off . Also they say if the shock absorber is faulty on a bumpy road the brake will try to lock. Even though I tightened the slack on my truck I still feel the bump occasionally. From wat Im reading on the ufp site this is common. Though not saying it couldnt be a worn shock absorber .2013 PANTERA 2MERCURY 200 PRO XSMINNKOTA 80LB FORTREX25 fury
