Those are a Grand General light and we would have to look into any changes there.
When we first went to these lights they were a encapsulated light. We were not notified of any changes on the lights from the Manufacture. The fix would be to silicone the back of the light before mounting. Please contact the parts department. Thank You.
I replaced those little lights a couple times. They have 4 individual LEDs on the ones I have and i think they were getting hit w/ rocks and stuff off the road or leaving a gravel ramp, not necessarily getting into the water. I just replaced them with Rigid Lighting marker lights. like literally just wired them a couple days ago. They cost a ton more than the ones that came on your trailer but they look bulletproof and and substantially brighter even in their mid-level brightness (I think rigid offers 2 levels of brightness/power).
Optronics makes LED clearance marker lights in red & amber that are direct replacements for what was on my 02 Classic. They are the same 1/4″ stud post so no other holes need to be drilled and these have 3 LED diodes in each light and virtually identical size to the old ones with length and width almost identical and depth of light just a slight bit more/not much though. Cost was less than $25 for 2 red and 2 amber, and that was delivered price.
Talked to parts and they recommend sealing the back with silicone sealer just to make sure no water gets in there. That is what I did so we will see how long it lasts. The previous one was only in for about a year. I understood those LEDs lasted a long time. There was no visual damage when I pulled it to replace. I even retested direct to the battery and it was stone dead.John
Just ordered and received a replacement LED marker light in amber. The back of the package reads “for indoor use only”. This is the second time I have had to replace. I know it is submerged when I launch the boat. Was wondering if this was going to be a problem.ThanksJohn
Look at the ones in the BCB store, I think they will cover the holes of the older style you have.

I just replaced my old style 2 screw lights with the ones on the BBC store website. They definitely cover the holes and are an easy install. Looks like a factory light.
