Trailer tire suggestions

No it doesnt matter as long the load rating is fine. The mastercraft tires BCB uses is a car tire if Im not mistaken. Some prefer car tires due to the trailer tire max speed rating of 65mph from what I can tell anyway. The Master Track tires that came on my Margay trailer are trailer tires. I dont know how theyll hold up since its new.

Just keep them aired up to around the max psi, and change them out after 5 or 6 years.

I agree with the statement about keeping them aired up to max cold psi. And yes if you dont change them out unless you have the golden horseshoe, or dont go on long trips your going to have some problem down the road. I just changed out all of mine. Get the best warranty you can find on the tires.

Single or dual axle? Dual axle has the tire load well below most any cars weight. Single axle – picking the right tire is extremely important.

Car tires are easy then…. Max cold pressure. As stated, keep the load range the same. Millions of miles by BCB owners on car tires.

You can do trailer tires even on a tandem axle. Its done all the time. Ive used Maxxis trailer tires on a tandem for a smaller Bass Cat. My brother has loaded them on a Cougar FTD trailer before as well. A lot of it has to do with the wheels in question…..are you in the 15″, 17″ or 18″ range? Ive got a set of Trailer King trailer tires that came on my 2015 Bass Cat trailer and they are doing fine. You can always call up to the factory and see what tires they are using now.
