You may want to hook-up your ‘Cat and drive to the nearest truck stop. Most (Loves Pilot etc.) have certified scales on site. You could pull through the scales until only the trailer tires remain on the scale. If the boat is till on the trailer you could subtract its weight which should be on the rating tag from the total. I would then add say 15 – 20% for tongue weight and you should have a pretty close approximation of the trailer wight. dont forget to account for fuel and batteries as the boat weight I believe excludes those.
