Tralier bunk boards

While putting the cover back on my boat today I noticed that the bolts that hold the boards to the trailer are not fully seated. Did they come that way, or have they worked loose? 07 PII.

Once the boat settles, the carpet compresses in those thick spots where the ends of the bunks are. The carpet compressing makes the heads drop down below the steel bunk brackets. You can tighten those up if you prefer, though we have had no issues from this and almost all have some settling. BCB

Any chance of dmaging my hull? Will the tightened bolts go too far through the bunk? If not I will tightem them up.

They will not go through, you can tighten them back up with a 3/8″ ratchet, extension and a socket. BCB
