TD for helm sonar will be in the bilge, the TD for the one on the bow is usually about 1/3 from bow where the hull becomes almost “flat”. There should be access to it through the forward drain cover. Both are epoxied to the hull.

Both are glassed into hull. Front is approximatly under front pedestal and rear under rear.

Thanks for your information. Is the 1440 dash graph “y” ed to the LMS 332 in the dash? I saw a puck (I think) epoxied to the hull in the storage area. Is this the 1440 transducer? I think that all trans these were all factory installed. That is why I am asking in this venue. If they are glassed in can we swap for other Lowrance without issue? I assume that we could not use the factory installed transducers with like Hummingbird or other brands. Thanks again for your replies. Moose

That transducer will probably not read on plane. You need to add a shoot thru the hull transducer in the bilge area for readings at faster speeds.Please change my user name to Firecat

I was wanting to put shoot thru in the bilge area to keep it as it is now but was told by Hummingbird that Side Image would not work with that setup. Any thoughts on this or was I given some bad information? Thanks

Miscommunication. They probably meant that if you try to install your SI ducer in the bilge, SI will not work. If SI is now working at slow speeds as it is meant to, then leave your SI ducer where it is, and then, as mentioned above, add a separate shoot through with “y” cable.
