Topic: TRIM GAUGE

The trim gauge worked when I took possession but recently developed some gremlins. My dealer is trying to work thru the issue with no luck at this time. We can’t sync with the digital smart gauge either. The Smartcraft gauge will not register the trim as well. Has anyone faced this same issue and what was the fix? Hope the video comes thru.........Thanks.

Let me add, a new gauge was installed and all gauges are grounded.

That’s more of a Mercury issue and we suggest that your dealership get in touch with the Mercury SmartCraft help desk.

Timing is bad with Memorial weekend the dealer has a huge back log until next week so thought I’d place on forum in case others had same issue with some thoughts. I don’t blame the dealer for delay, it’s not like I can’t use the boat.

Could never get the video to post on BBC but did talk with a dealer. He told me the analog trim gauge will not work with the new 4 strokes and smartcraft gauge and will not sync with the digital gauge. Problem is my digital gauge isn’t working either, taking it in Friday.

Has anyone else heard the same regarding the analog gauge? All other gauges are working.
