I have a Merc 2.5L 200 hp engine on a 2005 Classic that the trim indicator is not working on. The trim gauge needle indicates that the engine is always trimmed all of the way up regardless of the engine position. I there an easy test to know if its the sending unit or the gauge that is bad. If it is the sending unit, where is the best place to get a new one?
