Absolutly go with the Sears Die Hard platnum series, they cost a little more up front but you will not be disapointed as they last forever.

If the batteries listed above give you sticker shock, you can also look at wet cell batteries. I really like DEKA DC31 in the marine master line. That is if you have room for a 31 series. I used to use the AC Delco batteries and interstate bought them out. I noticed they copied Delcos maintenance free design in the 31MHD battery I got for starting, so if their marine batteries are the same (no water fill caps) I would try those since you have a connection. Both of these batteries should be in the $105-115 range and I got 4-5yrs service as long as I maintain water levels.

Wet cells are fine for most trollers while we prefer the AGM style for cranking battery in 31 Series.

Sears PM31 is a great battery.

I used to have Duracell agm batts in my old nitro. Great performance dropped a battery size from my interstates and never ran out of charge.

31 Optimas. Maintenance free and mine are going on 5 years old and never run out of juice in a day. Have 34 cranker at the moment. May move up to the 31 soon for more reserve.
