I ordered a new trophy plus from a local dealer.......havent ordered a brand new prop before. Checked around on the internet prior to having one ordered and didnt really want a used one. So the prop comes in, I go to pick it up and they say "thatll be $642.00". About $160.00 more than new ones Ive seen on the internet and $300.00 more than the used ones I really didnt want to buy (my fault there). So anyway.........have you guys seen a trophy plus for $599.00 plus tax or did I get the shaft?
Those one off and demo props smbass mentioned BCB puts up occasionally to reduce their inventory of test wheels. The answer on the price tag is that is probably an acceptable price for a one purchase item. Might be close to book value and higher than you assumed, though many of the props listed are from bulk buys and blow outs. Our thoughts are a little high on that wheel though not $150 high for an order wheel.
Gotcha…..thats what I was after. Thanks, makes me feel a bit better. I have two 25s now, the other one stress cracked on one of the blades but had it repaired. Wanted the new one on and repaired one as a spare.
