About to pull the trigger on a new truck, and Im going to install a topper. Anybody have any experience with aftermarket alarm systems that protect the topper? Or, does the standard motion detector work well enough?Al

Personally I ask my dealer who he uses, and have alarm installed professionally, along with glass break sensors. My next will be back to this pattern, as all previous. Factory alarm is useless,,, they just break a window and unlock to disarm………Best is silent to your smartphone so you can jack em up,,,,, that seems to have desired effect !

Thanks guys. Id rather pay upfront for a top notch alarm system, than get every penny back from my insurance company after a theft. Break-ins are becoming way to common on area lakes around here.
