They everywhere and you gotta chop off their heads to make it stop. Why would you have a problem with someone being proud to gain a new sponsor, and trying to promote that new sponsor while offering a discount on a product most of us use? JamesWell…First off- I dont come here for ads. Tons of tungsten sources just like the one you mention-Similar prices as well. You laying it out here just to build your value to Someone else. Secondly- imo the continued industry model KILLS ABSOLUTLEY KILLS the true professional- The guy that busted his ass in opens who has some talent to further the sport and help all of us catch more fish. You dont goto a golf course and see guys schilling knockoff titelist golf balls covered in patches and shooting 93. Because of this- there is more money in the sport. More control of representation and more value. And yes I get dont hate the player hate the game but at some point thats a total cop out by both the industry and the local player. Right now in this industry youre a “pro” when you decide you are. Its a friggin joke and I gotta look at it at every ramp. Dude cant bust an egg after practicing a week but hes walking the ramp with his 3 for 6 bag like hes a damn hammer. It generates entitlement totally de novo thats laughable.Thirdly- this approach of the industry often stooges the guy enrolled because they still making money. And while the margins are smaller the staffer buys more to schill more so they end up in same place. Sure there are deals not shaped like this but all the discount only staff positions work this way. Othwerise theyd be out of business. So in summary- unearned entitlement thats often self serving.Well, of course I want to prove my value to my sponsors, that is what this is all about. But that is how it works. Im not one of the guys that will hock any product cause the owner will write a check, I am quite far from that. The few sponsors/partners I have are all products that I was using prior to partnering with them, and thats the only way I will ever look at it. Its gotten to the point that some people wont use and cant afford to use tungsten. Im not talking about the guy with the new 80K boat, but the guy in the 20+ year old boat who is using his fathers rods and reels and is limited as to what he/she can spend. Now if the guy with the high $$$ boat and equipment wants to save a few bucks as well then good for him. Some people are fine paying $9.00 for that same weights they could get for a fraction of the price and if this is something I can help with, you bet I will. As far as me buying more to schill, I only buy what I use. I do however offer a checkout code for a discount on someones first purchase. Now if you are offended by what I have posted I apologize to you. It is not and would never be my intent. Sincerely,JamesLast edited by JRoberts on October 30th, 2017, 6:07 pm, edited 1 time in total.
