Update!!! 1994 Eyra Omaha Nebraska repowered 2016 175 ProXs warranty until 2021!

1994 version 1 Eyra, this boat was the flagship of modern BCB design. Thats why I bought it. Boat has 1993 175 XRI motor has good compression on all cylinders recently the exhaust manifold gasket was compromised, Water got in bottom two cylinders. Gasket has been replaced engine is running, like I said compression is 110 lbs on all cylinders but one piston is scored. I think a guy who had the time and knowledge could get this engine back up to speed easily but I dont have the time, not going to run it because it will fail with that bad piston. Boat is in good condition I spent countless hours last winter bringing the gel coat back to life and it really shines up nice. I wet sanded buffed and polished the entire boat. I built a deck extension and step which really helps on this deep hulled boat the extension gives you all the room you need to wind up on the biggest hook sets. All carpet is in good condition 2 years old and extension is less then a year. Seats were recovered with genuine BassCat seat covers made at the factory not some generic seat cover. Has an 8" Detwiller on the water adjustable manual jackplate thats a year old. Brand new hotfoot with new cables. Steering cables are a little over a year old. Worked 24 Fury prop no blemishes in excellent condition. Brand new power trim motor. 82lb thrust tour 82 digital Motorguide. Lowrance Elite 7x upfront and a bird on the console cant remember off the top of my head which model but it has side imaging and GPS. I have been going through this boat and it shows boat is overall clean and tidy. Trailer has two new axles installed this spring, also new bearing all the way around. I plan on getting a late model Cat that doesnt require tinkering. I work a lot and have come to the realization I enjoy fishing more then tinkering. This is a nice old Eyra that I want to see taken care of and loved like I do. I need $4000 for this boat and Im pretty firm on that. I have over $12,000 in it I dont have to sell it so Im not taking low ball offers. My dad has a big machine shed I could easily tuck her into for long term storage but I would rather see someone keep this boat on the water and continue giving it the TLC it deserves. The pictures above are of the old extension, I started over and it now has a lid so it functions as storage as well.

Some of the pictures posted above were taken during the gel coat restoration, also forgot to mention all decals were replaced during gel restoration. The picture with the side of the boat and the trailer, trailer hadnt yet been sanded and buffed boat had. Boat looked like the trailer before. Shes a clean rig for the age, awesome boat handles great in big water and keeps you dry! Most of the guys in my club have Champions many of which are 19 to 20 foot boats and on a nasty day on the water they just dont understand how I stay dry and they dont? My opinion is a well thought out design that had big water in mind thats why! This boat was developed on the great lakes specifically built for big water, nose high holeshot keeps you dry in the nastiest of waves, the hull is deeper then most bass boats, which is a major reason why it handles big water so well. I have been in my fair share of 18 boats and none even compare to this boat as far as ride and fishability. The front deck with the extension is huge for an 18 I have never had issues getting in skinny water tho, this boat in my opinion has the best of both worlds, fishes like a 20 but is light and nimble when you need it to be.

With the motor tilted down, what is the overall storage length on the boat. From the pics it doesnt look to have a folding tongue on the trailer, so just curious as to the overall length.Thanks,Tom

Not sure if I got a response to my question about your old motor via personal Email . I received an Email with no title (just a first name ) and so since I had no idea where it came from and deleted it suspecting it could have contained a virus . If it was from you regarding the motor please re-send with something in the title …….Thanks , Ken
