We use a baster and mirror on the rear battery. The location on that side allows for aftermarket install of a kicker tank, which a food portion do in the post sale time frame. The option of adding a second tray does sound reasonable and would further allow a future mount of a kicker if everything is organized properly. There was some instance of a former install, where battery location was relocated inappropriately, which definitely makes the other location not exactly right either. It works fine as is, though not fine for what your trying to accomplish.
