Do not go back to the buddy bearing system. The vault is the best system out there. Go to the parts page and buy a new hub assembly comes pre assembled. slide the old one of put the new one on and install the tire. You can buy the items needed to rebuild, but for the ease of buying a complete assembly id go that route. I would buy the new one to get you back in action then buy the parts and pieces to rebuild the old one along with the grease gun and special grease they use. Then you will have a spare should one decide to fail. Also I believe there is a reason for the intial 5 year warranty…had two go out a month after the 5 year mark…seems like they have that part down to a science…
