Vault bearing System?

Five (5) year warranty, with five (5) years more for a fee. No maintenance is correct. We are sure this has some down the road need and we would feel them like other wheels. Nitro is not a UFP system, and those axles are not always the same brand. The price tag for that axle as we understand it is about 60% the cost of a BCB axle and many other OEM products follow that pattern. Made in China vs. Made in San Marcos, CA also. There are other products that are the same in a Nitro, but they chince a buck where they can and greatly on the trailers. No he doesnt have the Vault system. Flyswatter can chime in here as he was with him. Third bearing failure on 2010 Nitro rig.Just another testament to the quality componets we have in our rigs. Thanks BCB. You guys build the best trailers around. Not trying to bash Nitro just wanted to verify what we have and remind everyone of the quality trailers we have. This is a perfect example of the BassCat Family experience. Yesterday, I am out doing some pre-fishing on Guntersville for next weekend. We get off the lake at dusk to head home but have to stop in at Waterfront to take the wheel off because of grease leaking out and hub making weird sounds. I start calling BassCat folks for some support. I get a return call from my dealer at 8pm that night to assure us that slowly riding back with three wheels instead of four because of the bearing issues on my friends 2010 Z8 would be okay. He emphasized just be safe!!! We limped back doing 45-50 mph with flashers going and man was that the longest 90 mile return trip. My buddy starts asking about the type of trailer hub and bearings BassCat uses. I said I wasnt sure. I took it for granted not really knowing. Chet follows up and emails me the Vault literature. I pass it on to my friend. After reading the literature I was so impressed on another detail BassCat takes very seriously for the end user. Again, another reason why BassCat is all aces to me. What an impressive design with five year warrnaty support with option to buy five more. Now not saying its not going to happen to BassCat trailers but heck this is the third time this has happend on two different wheels on his 2010 Z8 trailer. Keeping focus here and in the same spirit as Chet lets not digress negatively toward the competition but rather champion how the little things add up for BassCat vs. no haggle pricing distribution programs. We got back late, we got back safe and the ride was just that much more comforting because of the follow up support phone call from Scott Brech at Brech Marine, Selma, AL.Its all in the Family and sure am glad I have a BassCat!

2009 we believe. It is all the Torqueflex torsion axles in production models.

Yep – I have the same stories as your friend. It was a single axle though and left me stranded one too many times. Last time I was driving back from the lake and heard what sounded like a 12 gauge shotgun and saw debris shooting across the road. Boat and trailer on the ole flatbed wrecker to bring it back to the shop again. The mechanic said he had never seen anything like it before. Even kept the hub with part blown out to show his mechanic buddies. Thats why when researching new boats the trailer was equally important as the boat to me…and thats one of the things that kept leading me to BCB.
