Okay, this is for you ppl that have the ability to fix your own boat. Problem, water pressure hose clogged up. Original hose was 5/32 OD. using quick release couplings to join hard hose with rubber hose that runs through the boats hull. Ordered new hose and got 5/32 ID hose. That is what parts now carries. WAY TO BIG. How to fix this.... Using the 5/32 OD hose, cut what you need and discard the rest. Take a blow dryer and heat up the 5/32 ID hose, it will expand while heating. Once heated up slide the OD hose into the ID hose and let cool. A sealing affect will occur that you will not be able to separate. Reinstall onto the gauge and to the engine side. Bam... all fixed up and ready to read water pressure again. Allen.......you owe me a hat!!!!

My water pressure gauge needle does not return to zero when the engine is off. The needle stops between 12:00 and 1:00. The zero position on the gauge is around 8:00. Is there a way I can reset the zero? It still indicates water pressure when the engine is running, but I’ve lost my references with the range on the gauge. Forgive me for piggybacking your post, but I thought I would throw this out while y’all are on such a role.
