WAXING THE BOAT

Is it a bad idea to let polish (Protec Sealant) sit on the boat overnight? I just dont seem to have enough daylight after work to put the wax on and wipe it off. Can I leave it on overnight, or should I get out the work lights to get it off. Thanks.KentKent Charles 2002 Pantera Classic & 200 Yamaha VMax

Never done it, but it probably wont hurt anything. Heck, Ive seen little patches of wax left on after sitting for a week or so with no ill effects. It shouldnt take more than 20 minutes to do the whole boat anyway. Start waxing on one side and finish on the other side. By the time you get done with applying the wax, you can start wiping it off. It comes off much easier than applying it. Thats one of the good things about ProTec.

Phil. Thanks for the help as always. I always appreciate your input. I may have taken longer because I was working on a few scuff marks. Or, I may be putting it on a little too thick. Either way, it took me over an hour to put it on the boat and work it around all the tight spots. You are right though, it does come off much easier.
