Wet storage boxes and key help

Working on the last few bugs of my new PIV I recently picked up and was hoping for some help on the last couple of things. When I first got the boat, the two storage boxes behind the seats leaked badly; as in 4-5 inches of water after a storm. Had the latches adjusted when other things were being taken care of and there is still water getting into the boxes - enough for pretty bad mold growth on a couple of BCB caps I had in there. Any ideas would be appreciated. The last one is pretty minor but still a pain; I was given a stack of keys to the storage boxes but there seems to be no way I can get by with less than 3 keys plus the engine key. Was kind of hoping for 1 key to open all the latches. Is there a logic here that Im just not smart enough to figure out or am I stuck with multiple keys. Thanks in advance for any help

Keys…hmmm…unless someone changed locks at some point 1 key on all. Would email parts bout that one. As for leaking boxes I believe there is an algorithm on the FAQ section.C.O.D. Jr. III

I also got a bunch of keys but what I found was that they are all the same. As for your leaking rear compartments, you might want to check the seal around each of the drains underneath the lids.

sydaar, guess we are the deferred party. Sorry to hear you have a leaking box. The boxes are sealed at the top with the trim and usually the locks are the first culprit we find on most the leaks are in the locks or in the mounting area of the locks. The paper bag trick in the FAQ section will work, though that really should be a dealer issue. We really think a visit to your dealership may be in order to resolve much of this. Thanks for getting back BCB. The dealership I bought the boat from is about 8 hours away so well try the paper bag trick this weekend and see what happens; the trim and the drains seem fine so my guess its the locks. Received immediate email response from parts on the key problem and Im sure it will get worked out. Thanks
