While working on my "fresh water in" pump. I figured out there was no power going to the pump. I traced it back to the switch and see that I am getting no power at the switch either. This switch is at the bottom right of the picture. It appears that the switch gets it power from one of the terminals that are connected behind these white push button devices. I thought they were fuses of some sort. Does anyone know what purpose they serve? This is on a 2004 cougar. Thank you for any help.
When I push in on them, they dont seem to do anything. They have no “feel” or push back. How should they feel? What kind of protection would they provide? Do you have these on your newer models? Thanks again.
I would look on that breaker and try to match the amp rating. Not sure if 8 amp is all they have or not. You can check that breaker to see if it’s open using the ohms setting on your multimeter. Doesn’t mean it’s good just that there’s continuity.
