Which battery is #1

Im having trouble with my trolling motor causing graph interference i have a mk fortrex 101 with no sonar and a humminbird 958c and im running 4 batteries. I was going to run a ground from my starting battery to one of my trollers and my question is i have read on here to be sure to run it to the number one battery how do i know which one is the number one? Humminbird also reccomended running a ground from my starting battery to a screw on my trolling motor. If thats what happens to work could i not use one of the bolts that bolt down my motor or would i have to go to my motor itself? The boat is a 2011 puma ftd

When looking for the #1 battery in your trolling motor series, it is the one with the red trolling motor wire hooked to the positive terminal.Good luck. You are about to embark on one of the great quests in the bass boat universe, the quest for interference removal.
