Windshield rubbing on console

Has anyone had a problem with the windshield rubbing on their console? I just got my new Puma FTD with the large windshields, and have a spot about the size of a pencil eraser where you can see the console is being rubbed pretty bad. I’m not sure how it happens, as the windshield is on pretty tight, but you can see where it’s working through the gel coat. The consoles are Malibu Red, so its kind of jumps out at you. I’m thinking maybe I can pull the windshield off and affix a small piece of rubber or something similar. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

That will do it on a fix. The issue is usually from drilling the windscreen before the rubber inserts are installed in the holes and it tends to alter the position from the fit placement it was set at to drill.

A small piece of rubber is what I use.

I have a 2011 Puma FTD with the small windshield and noticed the same thing, I went to Wal-Mart and found some 1/2 diameter stick on. Its used for bottom of chairs so it want scratch the floors. they have different colors and very easy to put on. just loosen your windshield, pull off the back paper and it just sticks on. You can hardly notice it.

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking of a cabinet bumper stop. Ill check out Walmart.
