What suggestion does BCB offer on transom savers?
As far as I’ve read they’ve always recommended the old school stick as it actually supports the motor at the most leveraged point to control it’s movement and the only thing that actually offers support of it not being transferred to the transom. As jackplates get longer adding more leverage it only seems more important to taking the strain off the transom, though suppose they flex some and absorb some of the shock.
