If you are talking about connecting to the 25 amp main breaker, that is probably not a good idea. That breaker is intended to protect the boat’s harness and a few low draw accessories, and is sized so. Power poles each require a 40 amp breaker/fuse. Best idea is for the poles to be on their own circuit, with dedicated circuit protection and an on/off switch connected to the battery. Easiest way is to use the 40 amp fuses and tie their power into a switch something like a BEP 701 or a Perko battery switch.
