Our initial thought is that you have a repowered boat or added equipment. Adding things like a hydraulic jack plate, power poles and heavier engine, or objects that the era build was not designed for, can really present challenges.

Since the bow is set for that 1984-1998 time frame of engine and accessory weights, then it can definitely alter the tongue weights. We’ve seen weight to tongues added to compensate for weight. Also check your springs for bushing wear as those can give some walk.

If your still set on another trailer, why not just block yours up and shift things on your existing trailer.
